Liz Williams, M.S.W, LSWAIC, (she/her)
Tel: 360-255-0207
Liz‘s roots are in rural mountain towns in Montana and Alaska. She obtained a BA in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Montana in Missoula. At this stage of life, she finds Bellingham a welcoming space to grow and enjoys all the PNW has to offer. She is constantly outside, hiking with her dog or on a boat whenever possible.
Her experience with broader systems as a social worker, including psychiatric emergency services, community mental health, and substance use rehabilitation, informs her person-centered, trauma-informed efforts in the therapy space. Liz’s approach to therapy is warm and highly relational, drawing from multiple evidenced-based therapeutic approaches.
Liz believes therapy should be highly adaptable to each individual and not one size fits all. She focuses on supporting adult clients experiencing various mental and behavioral health needs, with a particular fondness for folks hoping to improve their self-image, explore coping for anxiety and stress, process developmental trauma, address relationship concerns, and enact desired behavior changes. Liz hopes to empower you through whatever shifts life brings your way and encourage you on the path that is uniquely your own.
