A born and bred Washingtonian, Emily’s therapy approach is tailored to the individual and their unique life experiences. Emily received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Washington University and her graduate degree in school counseling from Seattle University. Emily started her mental health career as an elementary school counselor before realizing she was passionate about talk therapy and watching clients grow long-term.
As a therapist, Emily specializes in helping children, preteens, and young adults work through anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. She believes that the key to success in therapy is providing genuine, unconditional positive regard for clients and authentically listening to and caring about their lived experiences. Emily is currently accepting new clients aged 10 and up.
When she isn’t counseling, Emily enjoys collecting plants, going on walks, creating art, and spending time with her husband and cat.
